Shephard’s Backyard Tiki Bar has achieved worldwide prestige for its live Reggae and rock & roll music, bikini contests, and huge crowds of fun-loving beach bar enthusiasts.

Shephard’s Backyard Tiki Bar beach bar is an 11,000 square feet fun spot, filled with bikini-clad gals dancing up a storm with DJs to keep the excitement going. The new swimming pool has a 7,000-square foot deck, VIP cabanas and SOAK bar, tequila, and taproom, plus an oceanfront two-level indoor-outdoor nightclub, aptly named The Wave.

Shephard’s Margarita Grill is an open-air beachfront restaurant facing the Gulf of Mexico. Dine on scrumptious appetizers, salads, and sandwiches while sipping a tropical drink and watching the boats and schools of dolphins pass. Listen to live music at all hours, from rock and roll to reggae and just feeling the vibe will get you out on the dance floor!

For just a snack, Shephard’s Backyard Tiki Bar is perfect. If you love island-inspired cuisine, the Margarita Grill won’t disappoint, offering an array of delicious sandwiches and incredible appetizers.

The Wave nightclub is at Shepard’s Beach Resort in Clearwater Beach, FL and invites guests 21 and older free admission Monday thru Saturday. Sunday is Hospitality Night and a $3 cover charge gets you in, with mixed drinks only costing $1 all evening. It’s a younger crowd. Nevertheless, Clearwater Beach’s Wave is the place to be. You can’t beat the fun, the people, the drinks, the live bands, amazing DJs and the view.

It is the ideal destination to come as you are, have some drinks, make new friends, laugh, party, and chill. In fact, the amusement does not stop there.

Boaters love to gather at Shephard’s Waterfront on Clearwater Pass where they can relax in the warm waters of the Gulf and as well be just a quick swim away from the music and partying.

Tip for boaters: Shephard’s is a little north of the Sand Key Bridge, on the channel when you’re heading to the Gulf of Mexico, but since there aren’t any boat docks, you’ll need to drop your anchor and just wade in, but be careful of strong currents, which are typical in these parts.

The inside scoop: On Sundays, the Wave is packed with locals. Go early if you want to get a seat. Weekend valet parking is $15, so you may opt to take the ferry to the island instead, and either walk that last mile or take a taxi to the nightclub.

If you wish to party in Clearwater Beach, this is certainly the location to be. The personnel was incredible; everyone was so nice and also very helpful. Parking is free if you happen to be staying there, which is great.
