Seabreeze Island Grill and Raw Bar — Beach Bar Review

One of my favorite places to eat is the Seabreeze Island Grill, which is just off of Gulf Blvd in Redington Shores. Although a great place to enjoy a cold beverage, the grill has an incredible menu and something for everyone. I always enjoy the beer specials and my friend cannot get enough of their Toasted Coconut Coladas for just $7 each. And, every Thursday you can get a dozen oysters on the half-shell for just $7.

We got there around five and started dinner with the Castaway Coconut Shrimp, what a treat. I love those little jewels from the ocean, crusted with coconut. But, what really makes them special, in my opinion is the key lime honey mustard dipping sauce. Since we still had an hour of the 7-hour Happy Hour, which is from 11am to 6pm, I had a couple Yuengling Draft beers. Then, we both a steaming bowl of Creamy Conch Chowder, with potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic. For the main course, we had the Seabreeze special, Grouper Tacos. These tacos feature grouper cheeks on flour tortillas, with cheese, cabbage, and mango salsa topped with an avocado-cilantro cream sauce (Extraordinary flavor!), and include two sides, I chose the black beans and rice and tropical Cole slaw. With our meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Washington State Chateau St Michelle Riesling, which is an apple aromatic white wine that’s really crisp and tasty.

Our conclusion and Beach Bar Review Drink Rating

We agree with the Seabreeze’s many customers, it is a fun, fantastic island bar and more. If you don’t believe us, come by on the Saturday of the month and take part in the Hawaiian Luau. From 6 to 10 pm they have leis, grass skirts, special foods and specials on food, Limbo and Hula Hoop contests, Waikiki dancers, and lots of drink specials! It’s not just fun, it’s a celebration. Some of our favorites include the Rum Pineapple Chicken or the Caribbean-style lobster tacos. Each entree also comes with their warm luau bread and coconut macadamia butter. It is heavenly! A great place for family and friends alike! The Seabreeze won the Trip Advisor “Certificate of Excellence” for 2016.

We gave the Seabreeze Island Grill a 4-drink rating for providing exceptionally good food & drinks at a reasonable price.
